CELL TO SINGULARITY
Role: Senior Marketing Artist
I have been with Computer Lunch Games for six years as a producer and marketing artist. Together we work on Cell To Singularity, a cult hit idle clicker game about evolution and human technology. With 10M+ downloads worldwide and nominated for Users’ Choice in the 2020 Google Play Awards, the team has undergone tremendous growth during the game’s lifetime. I’ve since played my part in ensuring the game’s success through art direction, technical production, and marketing art design.
THE BEYOND
Cell To Singularity’s most popular game content is the Beyond— a separate section of the game that’s all about outer space and what lies in the great unknown. We release each content update as a chapter, focused on its own theme like black holes, nebulae, or potentially habitable planets. To keep the series cohesive in its marketing and release art, I was tasked by our Creative Director with an editorial background to design them almost like sci-fi book covers.
LIMITED-TIME EXPLORE EVENTS
In order to stay competitive in the PC and mobile gaming market, Computer Lunch developed its own brand of live ops content. From the history of Earth’s mass extinction events to the science behind cheese making, there’s a wide array of limited-time gameplay experiences in Cell to Singularity’s Explore Events. My primary role as marketing artist is to successfully convey the core message of each Explore Event through its respective branding and promotional materials.

PROMOTIONAL APP ICONS
The main logo of Cell To Singularity features a stark, diagram-like depiction of a tree. Whenever there’s a big content update, our mobile players are made aware when the game logo changes. With a large portion of our player base on Android, we go through a lot of iteration to get the shapes, readability, and color just right for each new design.
PREMIUM CURRENCY BUNDLES
The game earns revenue from a premium in-game currency called Darwinium cubes. Below are themed bundle designs I mocked up and pitched to the product team, figuring out enticing ways to communicate store deals to players.
